Never Let Function Override Fabulousness. And Nobody Invited Vegetables.
Orange?
In the bedroom?
Can you imagine?
Here... You don't have to. Allow me to illuminate your thinking...
And now, your eyes do not deceive you.
There it stands,,, A gleaming, tangerine SMEG refrigerator.
A refrigerator, darling. In my bedroom.
It's the most natural thing in the world.
And while it used to sit in my kitchen for many years as the centerpiece of quirkiness in a place where I honestly don't cook much - humming away with an abundance of sparkling water and meals prepped for my puppy...
It no longer hums with food. (Especially not vegetables. Never been a fan of those.)
It's too fabulous for food.
So now her starring role is as...
An accessories armoir!
Of course she isn't plugged in anymore. She still can function as a cold receptacle. But it was time for a career pivot for her. She wanted to protect and care for more interesting colors and pieces of "ice."
Scarves and sunglasses in the crisper drawers...
South African cuffs in the door shelves...
Instead of plates of leftover nibbles... It's plates of adornments for fingers that pick up the nibbles...
The moral of this post is this: Use everything beautifully.
This is domestic extravagance... I know. And vegetables weren't invited.
