I Am Ready To Entertain Sandy.

On the advice of Frogger, who is stranded at a lovely hotel in San Francisco, I went out and picked up a box of Cheez-Its and one more bottle of Pinot Noir...



NOW I am ready for this hurricane!

I've got candles, water, plenty of toilet paper, Cheez-Its, wine, peanut butter, marshmallows, fruit... You get the idea.

I like New Zealand Pinots. Cloudy Bay is an excellent one, but hard to find. I also like Angeline from the Russian River Valley. And Erath is a great one too.

Ah, the food of champions. I cannot do red at all, but for me a Pinot Grigio does the trick. Are you okay after Sandy?

LOVE PINOT GRIGIO! A red, though, just seemed appropriate with it being windy and rainy out. I did not open it though... I promised myself I would only open it if the lights went out. And they never did.

I was completely unaffected by Sandy, thankfully. My thoughts are with those in NJ, Staten Island and NYC who are dealing with the fit she pitched.
