Deeply Unimpressed, In Very Good Lighting: A Manifesto.
I don't curate.
I delete.
My calendar is often full because people trust me with real things - not because I can't say no.
I respect a sharp mind, a clean exit, and anyone who texts "no worries" and means it.
If I ghost you, you may have deserved it. But likely I am dealing with the "real things" with which I am trusted.
If I don't ghost you, you're probably rare.
I don't romanticize being misunderstood.
I write things down, I say what I mean, and I don't wait for people to catch up.
I like my conversations layered, my routines unbothered, and my standards evident.
I don't believe in, "timing is everything."
I believe in, "if it wanted to, it would."
I don't trust people who love a "vibe" but ignore their own behavior. Aesthetic is not character.
I like my clothes tailored, my coffee strong, my evenings quiet, and my solitude respected.
And if it ever feels like I'm hard to reach - just know I'm somewhere being deeply unimpressed, in very good lighting.
... With flowers and sparkling water close by.
