Le Coin Detente.

A cosy lounge room.

I did it. 

I got rid of the guestroom this weekend. And now I have about 2000 square feet inside for anything and everything that I want. 

What I wanted. was a cozy place to lay about and watch TV. I wanted to finally use the leather ottoman I had custom made for the Toronto house 16 years ago used in a room worthy of it... Pairing it with the tweed fabric couch and a leather chair. 

A collection of books and vinyl records... Blankets... Soft lighting... Incense...

It's far more cosy to lounge in than the living room - which is really meant for cocktails and conversation.

This is my new favorite room.
