Burning The Dear Universe.
Every week, usually on Sunday, I write a letter to The Universe. In it I write what I want to get done for the week. What I have largely on my mind. In general, it's my "prayer" for the week. I tuck it under my pillow and sleep with it just below my head, anticipating insights in my dreams.
And at the end of the week, I light it on fire.
I release the previous week's prayer, and prepare to write a new one.
This may seem silly. But it's my way of ceremonially preparing for my week. Out with the old energy, and in with the new one.
I let the ashes remain in the pit. The wind blows the along a little.
A new week. A new prayer. A new focus.
Just let things flow.
