Where I Will Be Every Weekend This Summer.

My original vision with the Tucson house was for it to be an AirBNB and escape place for me from Encinitas. Long story short... I found myself pulled to Tucson right before the pandemic, as I was working with an architect to add on to the very old house.

But part of that vision for the AirBNB was a swimming pool. A 10 foot by 10 foot square cocktail inground pool. With a bench running the inner edge.

But after the change of plans, and the home becoming my permanent base... I was told I could actually fit a 25 foot long by 12 foot wide pool in my corner lot.

So this is the fourth summer I've had the pool... And I've used it probably less than 10 times across the first three summers.

Yes. Just like living near the beach in California and never using it... It was the same with the pool. In fact, I use it more in the winter as a cold plunge.

But I decided this summer would be different. That I would use it as much as possible. Or, at least every weekend. 

Starting today...

The addition of the in-pool lounge chair and cocktail make it much more comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable.

 Strawberry margarita and fiction in hand...

 My day consisted of hot yoga first thing in the morning. A walk with my bitch. A sauna session. Pool time. And a short nap.

This summer is going to really kick all the ass that ever assed.
