Lime Epsom Leather 35 With Palladium Hardware.

If I were to wake up tomorrow and be surprised with a magical moment... It would be because of this...

I haven't had much need for bags in the past number of years. If I lived in a city again, absolutely. And I would love to be carrying an Hermes Birkin 35 in Lime (a bright citrusy yellow-green) Epsom Leather with Palladium Hardware.

I would make sure it developed a beautiful patina to it... After carrying it everywhere and shoving all kinds of things in it from groceries and books to hot yoga gear and chunky water bottles.

It would get it's usage.

And have a history.

Just like the Hermes Evelyne bag I have had for the past 12-ish years. I would never allow it to be cleaned (even though the Hermes store in Boston tried to convince me a few years back). 

"No," I said. "It has been around the world with me. Literally. I've carried it in the jungle and down dirt roads in Ethiopia where I stumbled into caves with piles of human skeletons that were thousands of years old. I don't want any of that energy removed."

I think they thought I was joking about where I had taken the bag. 

But I do not lie.  

And I will not lie about dreaming of one day waking up to a lovely gift such as this. 

I am willing it to The Universe to send me one.
