A Whole DIfferent Life Cycle Ago...

I live in Brooklyn. I had a charmed circle of friends. It was an eclectic bunch. I acquired dozens and dozens of pictures of that time. And out of all of them, this one remains my favorite.

Oh, Heather - I'm so sorry. It sounds like he was an incredible person. The scab gets ripped open every year, doesn't it?

Some years I am totally fine. Other years, I get really sad about it all. I think this year what got to me most was that it has been 9 years. And life for me has changed so much. And I start to think about where he would be in life now.
