Canadian Thanksgiving Dinner 2012.
Only every three years do I celebrate and offer to make Canadian Thanksgiving dinner... This was the year... So I am all set till 2015.
I have to say, I am quite pleased with how the dinner turned out... Especially given that I had to make pie crust at the last minute (due to the Whole Foods not carrying ready made pie crust.)
And I it's only once every three years that I bust out my food mill. Last time was to make the mashed potatoes. This time was to make Butternut Squash-Apple-Sweet Potato Soup.
Garnished with crispy sage and bacon.
A very tasty meal.
