Bikram Yoga Commitment - Day Three.

Day three of my week-long bikram yoga commitment... And I'm doing quite well. Made it to class tonight and sweeted my ass off.

Great news... I'm progressing in my poses. Today, I was able to do Pada Hastasana, "Hands to Feet" pose.



This may look easy, but trust me... It's not. It looks like a stretching exercise, but it's really a pulling exercise. You use your arms and hands to pull you upper body down to your feet. You have to keep you face resting on your lower legs. Only if your face is pressed against your lower legs do you get to straighten your legs out.

This pose is good for shaping you legs, butt and waist. It also helps with lower back pain and strengthens the spine.

Yoga break-throughs are awesome!
