Monsoon Season Has Begun.

We were due... We didn't have much of one last year, as I recall. 

The weather app didn't even have any rain expected for today. But suddenly the sky turned dark and water began dumping down...

I do own a sump pump, just in case.

And as I write this, it's thundering outside. 

George is concerned.

She has since moved to sitting at my feet - preferring the danger of my desk chair wheels sliding over her toes or tail to sitting in the window to observe the sound of anger coming from the skies.

And her concerns are valid...

I'm going to have a very weedy yard this summer. Ugh.
