An Omen To Relax.

As I was sitting, relaxing but working, a delightful energy zoomed around me.

A fairly large hummingbird.

They were a regular occurrence at my Encinitas property. But until today I hadn't seen one in close to five years. And I have nothing on my patio that it would want. No flowers or greenery of any kind.

But this little creature bounced around for a few minutes, as though it was dancing for me. Giving me energy. And delight.

I interpreted it as a sign that I should have more relaxing afternoons, sitting outside. 

And also that I should maybe plant to lavender in pots on the patio. Give it something on which to feed.

I'm superstitious and read into signs. This little creature coming into my space is one for sure.
