So That's What That Means!
I had a video conference scheduled this morning with some fellas in the UK office at work.
But when we began the conference, they mentioned that they were being kicked out of their conference room because someone else had (unbeknown st to them) booked it.
When they told me this I said, "Well that's bollocks, yo."
Then they all laughed. But I didn't understand why. I thought "bollocks" was like "BS" in the "Queen's English."
Well, I was wrong. It does not mean "BS." It means "testicles."
Who knew? (Obviously not me.)
I hope Human Resources doesn't come after me. I'm still learning!
