I can't believe its been eight years already too. I miss a friend too and each year think it will get easier, but as time goes on, somehow I think I am deluding myself. I'm sorry for your loss as well.

I wish I had something meaningful to say or add but I really don't. I'm just so sorry. I do know what it means to lose someone dear as well. Time heals and then all of a sudden, it aches...Remembering brings out the bittersweet indeed.
