Mistral.
The husband treated me to dinner last night at Mistral for another b-day celebration dinner. I had never been to Mistral before, despite it being close to our neighborhood. And I was very pleased with the place.
I was surprised I actually liked the place, because I have heard it is "quite the scene." And I'm not usually into places like that. I tend to be disappointed with the service and/or the quality of the food. But Mistral had both great service and great food.
If you go there, I recommend sharing one of the thin-rust pizzas as a starter. And you have to get separate desserts. You won't want to share. (But maybe that's just me. I loved the chocolate-filled macaroons.)
