One Of The Reasons I Walk To Work And Yoga.

I was messing around on Gmaps Pedometer just now and discovered that I get a lot of exercise in when I walk to work, then to yoga, then back home.

In total, the walking distance is about 3.5 miles. But according to Gmaps, I burn 425 calories.


But that seems like too high a number. I'm guessing it's about half that amount that gets burned. But no matter what, walking to and from work is definitely a great idea. The distance traveled definitely gets me a good hour of exercise in each day. (On top of the couple hundred calories I sweat off in yoga on days that I go.)

I absolutely will never work outside the city. Quality of life, people. Quality of life.
