MSN is going to kick Google's ass.

Okay. Totally going to "geek" out and talk about work-related stuff a little.

Found this article on AOL.com about MSN search. MSN thinks they will have a better search engine and will be kicking Google's ass within six months.

Hmm.... Yeah... I doubt it. And here's why...

It is estimated that Google has over a 50% market share in the search engine landscape. MSN's share of the pie is said to be about 10%. Even once they get this "more powerful" algorithm updated for their search, it would take many months (probably years) for users to start flowing towards MSN from Google.

I just found this to be a funny attitude for MSN to take. They have gone out there and boldly said "We're gonna be number one real soon." And that's B.S.

I tend to agree with you that it's total BS, although you can never completely write MSFT off.

The search market is Google's to lose, let's hope they hold on.
