She was a bi-atch, but she designs good shoes.

Five years ago I was a mere bridal consultant at a well-known media company. I spent my days in beautiful old townhouse on Manhattan's upper east side (73rd and Madison to be exact). My job was to assist brides with wedding-related things.

One of my brides was a shoe designer who was quite a piece of work. She was mean, and felt very entitled to my services whenever she pleased. She left nasty messages on our shop phone. She was mean to the staff when she came in. I was surprised she had friends and that there was a man out there who wanted to marry her.

Anyways... Five years later, the bride's shoes are actually something of consumer interest, and quite cute.

Definitely going on my "Spring Must-Have" list.
