Emma Watson & Burberry.
Who would have predicted when Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone came out nearly eight years ago that young Emma Watson would some day become a fashion icon?
Well, perhaps some of you could have predicted it. But I never saw it coming. I am such a huge fan of the Harry Potter series that until recently, whenever I looked at Emma Watson, I saw "Hermione Granger"...
Complete with frizzy brown hair and long scholastic witch robes.
Now though, she undeniably a young fashion icon. I don't know that I have ever seen her wear something in public that wasn't reflective of how she carries herself: Elegant, Sophisticated and Youthful. And now, she is bringing that same essence to Burberry's Fall/Winter ad campaign.
I am so tempted to start straightening my wavy hair, begin working the smoky eye and rush out to Holt Renfrew to go crazy in the Burberry section. Also, I am so anti-popped collar... But I will totally be working that look on my trench this year.
