Holt Renfrew Windows: BLOG!
I like fashion and shopping. Let's not pretend otherwise, please.
Because I love both of these (though I haven't done much of the second in recent months), when The Husband asked me what area I wanted to live near here in Toronto, I said, "Whatever is near the following: Taco Bell, Starbucks, Bikram yoga studio, subway and shopping."
Well, living in Yorkville, we nailed all of those with one stone. And every day I get to walk past one of my favorite places in the world for fashion inspiration (next to Barney's in NYC - gotta respect!)... Holt Renfrew.
Holt Renfrew is a glamorous department store here in Toronto. And by glamorous, I mean, "High fashion. Even higher prices." The first time I went in there, I saw gorgeous models walking around the floor in the latest seasonal pieces from Oscar de la Renta.
"It's moving art!" I thought. And I found myself in love with the place.
Then, today, I fell even more in love with Holt Renfrew. This time, because of their windows.
It's like they designed these just to reach out to me! Me and other bloggers who love to spend hours writing whatever pops into our heads about bags and shoes.
I appreciate their reaching out to new media geeks like myself. They are saying they appreciate bloggers and interactive media nerds who spend hours online... Facebooking, Twittering, Digging, Blogging...
