Cake Of The Week: Lemon Cake WITH Sprinkles.
Wow... Our cakes are getting fancy on us!
I came into work this morning to find our weekly cake delivery from Boston Tea Cakes on my desk, just waiting for me.
I quickly ripped open the shipping box and saw that in it was a "Lemon Cake"... Which we have had before, and is quite tasty. But today's cake had something extra special on it... Yellow sprinkles! (Or as people from Boston sometimes call them, "Jimmies.")
I did punch it, while it was still in the wrapping. The sprinkles splattered a little. But most of them are still on it.
I may dig into it later today. But with all this cake lately, we really should get a covered cake plate... Like grandma used to have.
