Instant & Easy Chic?

Glancing at the cover of June's Harper's Bazaar magazine it announces that there contains information inside (between the gazillion ads) on "Chic Easy Pieces."



... But when venture inside the pages, and navigate to the section that this headline refers to, you see that becoming "chic" isn't as "easy" as had been promised.

The "easy chic" things they suggest you try?

• Opera-length gloves. Seriously? In summertime? WTF is this suggestion doing in the June issue?
• Metallic embroidery. Um.. I love metallics, but just because something has metallic embroidery does not make it "chic."
• Belted outerwear. Again, we are entering Summer. I'm not gonna wear a wool cape-ish coat with a belt.
• Leopard clutch. Okay, this one I can agree with, as animal prints do bring a chicness to style.

Perhaps these are merely suggestions they are providing in advance of the Fall season... Which is at least four months away. But still... Can we please try to stay seasonal? If you want to talk about Fall, can't it wait till Spring is officially over?
