Where Does One Wear A Lamé Dress?

Where in deed?!?!

Now, I like Vivienne Westwood. But I just do not know where one could really use a dress this shiny, other than New Year's Eve.

This dress would never pass the Chico-nomics questionnaire. Not in a million, billion, trillion, quadrillion, quintillion years! Especially not when it costs over $1200!

That dress is amazing. New Years and Your Own Surprise Birthday Party. That's it. Unless you of course are Carrie Bradshaw and then of course you could wear it to get coffee.

My Mom wore a gold lame suit to my brother's afternoon garden wedding. But you have to kinda know my Mom to understand how befitting such an outfit would be. She's got this huge personality (she's like a drag queen trapped in a cute little straight woman's body) so it completely worked and she looked fantastic.

I'm a firm believer that in order for that dress to work, it has to fit the personality really well...Of course being less than $1200 would be a huge start for me ;)

I actually don't find this dress any flashier than a red dress.
The design counters the fabric.
If you are not shy you could wear it anywhere. & with the right accessories.
I'd wear it with a black cardigan and purple scarf.

Oh good call, T!

Layer with it... And it can be appropriate and more wearable!
