Weekly Poll: Staycation or Vacation?
My friend Frogger, who is a travel writer, had a relevant question posted over on Twitter this morning. And I thought it would make a fun weekly poll.
With the Spring season now here, and Summer just a few months away... I can imagine many of us are itching to get away from our home turfs. So I was wondering, which would your rather do:
Staycation - A period of time in which an individual or family stays at home and relaxes at home or takes day trips from their home to area attractions
Vacation - Leisure time away from work devoted to rest or pleasure... Usually requires planning and possibly long-distance driving, train ride, bus ride, cruise or a flight.
