Thanks Mum...

... For making me learn to play the flute as a child.

According to this study, 83% of adults who earn over $150k a year took musical lessons as a child.

I find it surprising that the article didn't mention anywhere that kids who take music lessons are more likely to have parents who are well off, and more likely to go to better colleges, etc. That's not the ONLY factor, clearly, but it seems like a major one.

I studied piano at Boston Conservatory and I'm still waiting for my six-figure salary. ;-)

You're still young. My salary jumped by about $60k in the span of two and a half years. It does that. Your expertise in your field sky rockets once you hit a certain level.

I'm still not at $150k. But I am at least finally happy with where I am.
