Bagel Innards.

I have decided that today's lunch will be in liquid form in order to avoid the pukey feeling at yoga tonight. So I had to eat something substantial and solid for breakfast. My choice...

A bagel! But I have this habit lately of pulling out the innards of my bagel.



I do this to cut down on the calories. Also, bagels are sometimes too filling. So pulling out the innards helps.

Does anyone else do this with their bagels?

YES. I always pull the middle out of my bagels. Anywhere I can save calories I say! BTW -- I'm doing weight watchers now. Talk about difficult... a food blogger with a limited diet!

I don't do this, but I just eat half. In fact, almost everything I eat, I divide in half.

But Tammy, I think the dieting thing would make for a wonderful series on your blog... "How to eat healthy and gourmet in Boston."

Just because one is trying to eat healthy doesn't mean there aren't "healthier" ways to indulge.

Yay for Finagle A Bagel! I always order my bagels "skinny" to save my calories. I agree with the missus.. keep us healthy in Boston!
