Bella Roma!
We have landed! We have landed!
(Taken from the plane window as we were touching down.)
Frogger and I are in Rome now. The flight (via Alitalia) was quite bumpy. And the food was ick. (Tip: If you ever have to fly Alitalia, do NOT eat the food. It could make you sick.) After waiting 25 minutes for our luggage to come out on the baggage carousel, we hopped the Leonardo Express train to Termini Station... And then jumped on the A train to the Spagna stop, where our hotel is.
The hotel is quite nice. The single rooms are about the size of a dorm room, but very nice.
We checked in, and had them take our luggage up to our rooms while we sat in the hotel cafe/bar for some breakfast.
We have reservations at 9:30pm tonight for dinner at the Ristorante Kosher on via Portico D'Ottavia, in the Jewish Ghetto. But who knows what hijinks we will get up to before then.
