London: Day One.
My co-workers and I arrived in London at about 7am this morning. We were at the company flat in W1 by 8am... And after checking email, we each went into our bedrooms and crashed. But by 3pm, we were each ready to hit the city for a little familiarizing.
We strolled the streets in our neighborhood in search of caffeine, which we found. We also found the nearest subway stop, and then headed over to Green Park. We got out there and walked by Buckingham Palace, where we saw the most beautiful Spring flowers...
I love red and yellow tulips!
Then we walked across the Thames to the London Eye, near the South Bank area. Because it was so beautiful out, we just sat on a wall people-watching as the Sun went down.
It was a good first day.
