Picture Of The Day: French Toast.
Living in our temporary apartment here in Toronto leaves me with limited cookery and utensils. I have one small-ish fry pan. A small stock pot. And a glass baking dish. As for cutlery, I have one small paring knife and a dull bread knife.
That's it.
So, I haven't had much of a desire to cook since we got here. Without proper materials to cook with, it makes it impossible to go beyond pasta, pre-made foods and things you can shove in the microwave.
This morning, though, I was finally inspired...
French toast! It was simple enough with the fry pan we have. And the paring knife easily sliced through the fruit.
We're in this apartment for another two months. That means two more months without proper kitchen stuff. I would go buy some stuff, but what's the point when I already have stuff, it's just in storage?
The french toast kicked ass, by the way.
