Picture Of the Day: Front Yard Garden.
I took a walk through the neighborhood I will be living near in August this afternoon.
Up and down the streets... Looking at old Victorians and red-bricked town homes. The streets were quiet and there was lots of green from trees, bushes and gardens. It was beautiful and serene. And that's when I noticed an odd patch of front garden...
It was a vegetable garden! Right off the street, in some one's front yard! And they were growing Swiss chard, radishes and corn (according to the planter labels).
I found this odd because the garden was right off the street, out in the open. Any person or animal could come by and steal from it.
People in Canada are very trusting.
