Blind Man Running.

While taking the bus to work today... I saw the most impressive thing that I will probably see for some time...

A blind man, running across a crosswalk at Park and Tremont Streets. He ran perfectly, in a straight line. His cane jutted out in front of him, in the air, as he took small but quick shuffling steps across the wide painted lines on the asphalt.

I know this man to be blind, as I have seen him many times on the street while walking to work. What I wouldn't give to have his balance and grace. I mean, I have all my senses and do yoga... But there's no way I could run across the street in a line that perfectly straight even with my eyes open.

I just don't have that skill.
