Hayden-Harnett Does Tar-jay.

I wish I had a Target near me. Sadly though, I have not lived within reasonable commuting distance of a Tar-jay store in over eight years.

The reason I wish I lived closer to one is because of all the designers that have begun putting together collections to sell at the store. In the past few years we have had Botkier, Luella Bartley, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, Gryson... And now, the latest is coming from Hayden-Harnett.

According to Fab Sugar, "details are still in the works." But this will be very exciting. Hayden-Harnett is good stuff.

The Southbay Target is like 1.5 miles from the South End. It has those mini lines from designers.

It might be worth a cab ride...

Don't be too upset...I always get excited about the designer lines, but once I see them in person I usually feel like the quality does not justify even a cheap price. For example, I was looking at the Botkier bags today, and I just cannot justify buying a faux-leather bag. I am concerned that it won't wear well and will quickly look cheap. The clothes tend to have rippled seams and hems and not-so-nice fabrics. Don't get me wrong, I love Target, but their designer lines have disappointed.

south bay is also like 3 minutes away from andrew station on the red line... which is only 2 stops away from south station. you could get there from yoga in like 20 minutes!

There's also a shuttle bus from the Andrew Sq. stop as well as a few T buses that pass by and through there.

Not to mention that I live a stone's throw from there. Let me know if you buy too much to carry :P

You mock me, Wight-y... But when I do go to Target, I often buy a crap load of stuff.

I may have to take you up on it. The Sarge can carry shit for me, right?

If by "carry" you mean "painstakingly cover in a thin veneer of dog saliva" then yes, I'm sure he'd be up to the task.

I have a number of Hayden Harnett bags and have not been pleased with the quality. they do not wear well and two of them have had pieces break off. My sister had the same bag repaired 3 times and finally had to fight them hard to get a refund. Cute, well priced but not good quality. So, I do not have high hopes for the Tar-jay line.
