I'm Saving My $5 Too.

Not sure if you all caught this article on the Boston.com website earlier this week... It's about a writer who decided to start saving every $5 bill she received a few years back. And now she has over $12k from saving them.

I think it's a great idea! And I have started doing it myself.



I agree with the writer in that I'm not going to miss spending $5 bills when I have them. It's a small-enough denomination that you won't miss it, but it's a substantial-enough denomination to really pack a punch when you begin saving them.

So I am now hoarding $5 bills.
